Roles

Successful projects require a shared understanding of roles and responsibilities. Some projects may not have a dedicated individual for each role but the responsibilities may be shared between the team. The size of the team will determine how much separation there is between the roles.

Project Lead

Each project will be assigned a project lead, typically this will be a lead developer or designer, depending on the deliverables for the project. The project lead is responsible for:

  • Setting up the project within the client trello board.
  • Creating the project in the CMS.
  • Dividing the work load among team members.
  • Code review.
  • Quality Assurance.
  • Ensuring the product has achieved the defined project goals.

Project Manager

The project manager is responsible for ensuring that our project process is being followed and that client visibility is high. The project manager is responsible for:

  • Communicating with the client and ensuring that all required assets are devlivered before the project start date.
  • Working with the design team to ensure that the project goals are being met during the design phase.
  • Running all project related meetings.
  • Monitoring scope and adjusting timelines as necessary.

Developers & Designers

Developers and designers on the project are there to execute on the project deliverables set during the internal and external kick-off calls.
